Avant Garde Maritime Services (Pvt) Ltd., (AGMS) Knowledge Base Centre provides a vast collection of information resources and services to support all their business partners, clients, agents, representatives with ways to exchange information and data. Sharing Maritime Knowledge will make surveillance cheaper, more effective, and also collects resources covering maritime affairs, shipping, other subjects relevant to the work of the Organization such as e.g. border control, safety and security, fisheries control, customs, environment or defence.

If you are interested in these kinds of specific surveillance activities to take measures in anti-piracy, maritime safety and security in general please check in our AGMS Knowledge Base Centre. It will give all concerned authorities an access to the information they need for their missions at sea.

Piracy

Piracy is typically an act of robbery or criminal violence at sea. The term can include acts committed on land, in the air, or in other major bodies of water or on a shore. The term has been used throughout history to refer to raids across land borders by non-state agents. Piracy or pirating is the name of a specific crime under customary international law .
